THE SCOPE
To celebrate the achievements of graduating students, RMIT’s School of Design organised a two-day exhibition showcasing work from all nine programs. I was chosen and responsible for developing the brand identity and wayfinding for the event.
The design reflects the school's three disciplines - communication, digital, and industrial design. Shapes used throughout were inspired by the floor plans of each campus, symbolising how the disciplines unite under one school. Posters were printed using RISO, producing vibrant, multicoloured displays throughout Melbourne's CBD that captured public attention with their bold and distinctive visuals.

THE PROCESS
For wayfinding, we created pamphlets that displayed a simplified outline of the RMIT Library building, using three key shapes to represent each discipline across different floors.
To enhance the visitor experience, I was also responsible for designing apparel for student volunteers, featuring large graphic prints of the assigned discipline on the back. This made volunteers easily recognisable and helped guide guests clearly without distraction.

THE DESIGN LANGUAGE
Three disciplines, representing a single school of design, are symbolised by three distinct shapes coming together in unity to form the overall school.
Significant shapes: each school is designed from the floor plans, highlighting each campus as one.
Vibrancy ensured the brand identity was distinctive characterised by their unique shapes layered together to represent the School of Design.
